New Residence in September

I promised I would post pictures of the guest house we are renting when the deal was final. It is a two-bedroom guesthouse built within the three-foot thick walls of an ancient Dominican Monastery. It is owned by an American Missionary couple that have been in Guatemala for 52 years and have made it their home. They seem like a wonderful couple and they have a beautiful place. Those of you that know Antigua, their compound backs up to the Hotel Santo Domingo. You can walk out the back gates of our place into the back gates of the Santo Domingo Monastery. We are so excited about this place becoming available. I called Mayra to ask her about it and when she realized where it was her immediate response was "grab it, it's beautiful". We like the privacy, security and green space for Ozzy to play. Here are a few pictures of the place.

Today we spent most of the day doing baby registry at Target and Babies-R-Us. That feels kind of weird, but everyone keeps asking us when we are going to register, so now we have. Gifts or no gifts we want to bring Ozzy home and we are doing everything humanly and legally possible to do just that.

Your continued prayers are what we need most right now.

First Visit to the Memphis Zoo

Sunday, February 1 was such a beautiful "spring like" day here in Memphis so we decided to have our first adventure at the zoo. Ozzy loved the animals, mostly the bears and monkeys. Enjoy the slide show above.
