We took Ozzy out for the first time since the chicken pox saga and we got rained out...not a bit surprised. We did find a fantastic little art gallery of local artists, not your touristy art shop, we haven't bought anything...yet but did meet one of the young artists. He is just fabulous with light. Think Thomas Kinkade but with muted colors. Very dramatic.
Last night we had a visit from a couple living in our building that is also with our pitiful adoption agency...always a good conversation topic...trashing the agency. While their little boy was running around and playing Ozzy got really brave and started walking. We have witnesses. I don't know if he just saw Max running with his favorite toy and thought "hey I can do that" or what. We were thrilled, while he was so sick last week we couldn't get him to even try to walk. Tonight Kimberly got him to eat an apple and then pizza.
We are soaking up every little bit of this child that we can. What a joy one minute and a patience extender the next...wow.
Here are a couple of pictures from our outing. Enjoy.
