Fifth and Final Trip

I say that because we are not going back to Memphis without Ozzy. We had a good trip today with the exception of losing all steering hydraulics after we landed in Guatemala City. The tower wouldn't let the tug pull the plane to the gate because hydraulic fluid was pouring out. After almost an hour we were pulled within 100 yards of the terminal and walked the rest of the way.

We went to Walmart for supplies and on to Irma's to pick up Ozzy. That was emotional. Her family has gotten so attached to Ozzy since May that they just cried when we got ready to leave. Ozzy on the other hand was extremely excited to see us and wanted nothing to do with them and was ready to go. I would be lying if I said that didn't make us feel good. Then it was on to Antigua. WOW, I can't wait to take some pictures of the place where we are staying. The few that I posted a couple weeks ago are no where close to what this place is like. There is so much green space for Ozzy that we almost have our own park and they have two dogs that are great with kids. Ozzy wasn't scared of them, so we are going to give him a good dose of dog while we are here.

I just wanted to post that we are here and have our son. Continue to pray for the process to be completed in a timely fashion.

More tomorrow...with pictures.

First Visit to the Memphis Zoo

Sunday, February 1 was such a beautiful "spring like" day here in Memphis so we decided to have our first adventure at the zoo. Ozzy loved the animals, mostly the bears and monkeys. Enjoy the slide show above.
